The home cooked meals are simple but tasty and mostly are fish (freshly caught) that was a treat. Our side was clean and maintained by Tony and his family. The other company is out side the fence and on the beach (one side of the island) with no private beach and this is the dirty side with a lot of trash. They have a fence around there place as there have been robberies in the past. That done we arrived on Isla Ina, the placed we stayed was run by Tony a very friendly guy and his family. The organization of the boats was chaotic and during mind travel on open sea, they decided to switch bags from one boat to another to prevent them from getting soaked and were carrying bags over. There was nothing else sold (aside from regular coke) on the island. Bring plenty water and alcohol if you do not want to drink only beer or rum. Bring money, there are no CC/AmEx/MC facilities. When the ocean is ruf you will get wet, bring a waterproof bag for your phone and camera and money. After all that hassle it’s off to open sea (Atlantic Ocean). They all look at your color wrist band and think “O you’re that group go here, wait there”. The whole ride was 3-3.5 hrs and then 30-45min boat ride, which was badly organized as well, as no one speaks English and there is no real communication or direction in which boat you are supposed to go. The road is very bumpy and full of put-holes and about 45km seems to take for ever at least 2 hrs. The 4x4 is crowded and if you’re being picked up first take the seat next to the driver or 2nd tow next to the windows, the rest are bad seats. The tour picked us up from the hotel at 5:30, they were there 5:35 so on time. Overall Ina Island was crowded but I have been told not as crowded/overcrowded as Isla Franklin and Diablo. As always presenting the numbers: -Price - Quality: 3*** from 5***** -Price overall: cheap -Quality of hurts/dorms: rudimentary 1* -Quality of Ina Island: 2.5** -Organisation: 1* (there is none) - see below -worth to go for the experience: 4**** -boat trips to other islands: 3.5*** -Pelikan Island: 4.5**** most untouched/peace when you are a small group. Important take your passport with you as you go to an autonomous region. 32+50+22= 104$ and 45$ I paid at the cabins on the island so actually paid a bit more then the advertisement of 147$. The 4x4 is paid 50$ cash upon arrival in the port or at the supermarket (before the long bumpy road to the port) and 22$ is paid for entering Guna Yula (Government tax). transport and 3 meals a day (very simple and monotonous but made with love).
